Dogs

We will accept dogs by prior arrangement only. Long haired and/or large dogs may not be acceptable - please check before confirming your booking.

Any dogs that do come must be well behaved/quiet and kept under close control. The gardens are fully dog proofed but we would respectfully ask you to keep inquisitive pets close to hand and not infringe on other guests' privacy or general cleaniness of the properties and their gardens!

The cottages have laminate flooring in the kitchen/living room and it is essential to bring a dog bed or mat with you for your pet to stay on. Pets are strictly forbidden from using any furniture or entering bedrooms or bathrooms.

A supplement in now payable for future bookings of £10 per week per dog.

Horses

Original farm stables in the old granary barn look out towards the cottages which lend themselves perfectly to a riding holiday. There is extensive off road riding near Harpley around the Peddar's Way and the many bridlepaths between Harpley and the magnificant Houghton Hall, where an International 3 Day Event takes place in May. Prices available on request.
